After the two-controversial leaked sex video scandals went viral, Paolo Bediones resigns as TV5 News achor — Aksyon Tonight says to a popular showbiz columnist.

According to Pep.ph, Paolo Bediones has quit his job as news anchor in Aksyon Tonight, a late-night news program of TV5 network according to a showbiz columnist, Ricky Lo.

In Ricky Lo's column, Funfare of Philippine Star, he heard rumors about  Paolo's resignation in late-night newscast in line with the revamping of the program of TV5. Paolo will be replaced by Martin Andanar as new news anchor.

Additionally, Paolo's instagram post last Sept. 3, 12:56PM which states: Some of the hardest and most painful decisions in life actually free us from living life in fear. Have a blessed Wednesday everyone :)


Before the news broke about Paolo's resignation, Paolo is temporarily cannot be seen on his news program and it is said he's having indefinite leave. However, Paolo continues to be a host in Demolition Job(Reality Science Show) and Rescue 5 (Public Service Program).

To recall, TV5 supported Paolo after the leaked videos went online. TV5 also added that the issue was purely private and personal matter.
